Canon to Showcase Expanded 4K Projector Line-Up at ISE 2019

Canon Europe today announces that its newly-designed LX-MH502Z and the XEED 4K5020Z with the RS-SL07RST, a specially designed interchangeable 4K lens, will be on display in a show of enhanced commitment to 4K at ISE 2019.

Within the stand’s dedicated zones, Canon will be demonstrating native 4K with two 4K5020Z projectors, one with the new 4K RS-SL07RST on a 158” screen, and the second on a 100” screen using the RS-SL06UW lens. Canon will also be demonstrating UHD pixel shift technology in the LX-MH502Z and showing the XEED range, launched in 2018. With a strong heritage of lens development, Canon will showcase the breadth of its projector lens range including the new 4K RS-SL07RST, made with the same precision-built glass and quality as the world-renowned EF and RF lens ranges.

Colin Boyle, European product marketing specialist for Canon Europe, says, “Building on the interest of the new chassis platform launched at ISE 2018, we’re excited to showcase our most comprehensive line-up of 4K models to date, highlighting our expertise in image quality and optics. This year, systems integrators will experience projectors at a range of resolutions, brightness and efficiency that meet an array of installation demands. We know that many systems integrators are increasingly looking for end-to-end solutions – from input to output – so at this year’s ISE we’re also demonstrating how Canon is best positioned across our full portfolio to support from this need – from image capture, including the EOS R and Cinema EOS C300 II*, and display products, through to projection solutions.”

Visitors to the Canon stand will see a never-before-seen showcase of Canon’s large venue projection capabilities. This soon-to-be-announced, best-in-class solution will be suitable for public viewing, stadiums, auditoriums, resort hotels and outdoor projection mapping. This will be on display for the first time in Europe.

Displaying incredible UHD footage, captured on Canon’s C700 FF, a primary production camera with versatile 5.9K Full Frame CMOS Sensor, visitors can experience the impeccable image quality and resolution of Canon’s latest 4K large venue projectors. Visitors can also take a walk-through an immersive demonstration on stand, which uses multiple projectors for precise blending and mapping. Working with a range of partners, this demonstration will showcase powerful, high-brightness content even in ambient lighting conditions.

ISE runs from 5th – 8th February 2019 in Amsterdam and you can find Canon in Hall 1, Stand N-30. Canon is here.
