In Which I Belatedly Reflect On Christmas Cards

Last week I received an unexpected, wonderful surprise.

I got a couple of Christmas card from some of my dealers.

I’ve sent out Christmas cards to my dealers in the past, but I’ve never received any in return.

You may wonder why they were so late.

I could be glib and tell you that they were for Orthodox Christmas, which was on January 7, this year.

The real reason is that they were mailed to our head office in Vancouver. And eventually they were forwarded on to me with one of my sample deliveries, so I got them a few weeks late.

It’s a pleasant gesture, and while I’ve questioned the value of business Christmas cards in past years, it’s kind of making me rethink my position.

Fortunately I have plenty of time to decide what to do for this coming year.
