Leveraging its best-in-class visualization technologies, Barco Residential will demonstrate its latest innovations at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2017, Europe’s biggest AV and systems integration show.

At ISE 2017, together with its partners, Barco Residential will demonstrate how it is changing the high-end home cinema experience with a range of innovative technologies, products and applications that combine technology leadership with architecture and interior design to bring unique visual experiences to all areas of the finest residences.

Barco Residential is joining forces with Steinway Lyngdorf and DT Screens to create an unforgettable experience in our dedicated home theater in Audio Demo Room E107. The theater will feature our new laser 4K projector ‘Barco Loki’, an in-wall sound system by Steinway Lyngdorf, and a hand-crafted projection screen by DT Screens. To complete the experience, Ineva Design will showcase luxury home cinema seating − featuring beautiful design combined with refined fabrics and exceptional finish − from their Cosmo collection.

Also on display will be Barco Residential’s unique ‘Ultimate media solution’ featuring a large custom-designed high-resolution screen. Rethinking the high-end home office, the solution blends work with play, allowing users to work with multiple content sources and freely arrange them on screen through the intuitive user interface. Or customers can create a canvas for new media art. Our ‘Ultimate media solution’ enables custom integrators to create application-based and fully integrated solutions that suit their clients’ homes perfectly. At ISE 2017, The ‘Ultimate media solution’ will be complemented by custom-painted Meridian Audio Special Edition DSP7200 loudspeakers.

Drawing on our leadership in projection, lens, and screen technology, Barco Residential will showcase how custom integrators can offer their clients the opportunity to create their own integrated short throw projection ‘TV’ − with front or rear projection, in CinemaScope or 16×9 aspect ratio − to complement the architecture of their favorite room.

Barco Residential is teaming up with Genesis Technologies to create a VIP lounge in Audio Demo Room E108 (connected to our demo room). It will feature several Barco Residential technologies, including the new 4K Barco Wodan, which will project onto one of Screen Innovations’ most forward-thinking screens. In collaboration with NIIO – our partner providing the trusted platform to manage, distribute and display moving image and new digital art forms – our custom LED ‘new media art canvas’ will also be on display, featuring unsurpassed image quality with stunning colors. Offering an immersive sense of design, the VIP lounge will allow partners and customers to maximize 1-on-1 time with our teams in a complete design & technology luxury environment.

The Barco Balder – the company’s brand-new 4K UHD, HDR10 laser phosphor projector – will premiere at the Genesis Technologies VIP lounge. Balder and Balder Cinemascope deliver a punchy 3,500 to 7,000 lumen output, depending on the model and configuration. Manufactured to perfection in Norway, and featuring the finest materials such as aluminum and glass, the Balder range brings beauty into the most refined home cinema and media rooms. Balder not only shares the same electronics with our higher-end Loki models, the optical design and new single laser engine are also taken from the Loki platform.

Barco Residential around the ISE 2017 show floor:

• At Booth 1-N75, Screen Innovations will use Barco Residential’s projectors to power their suite of ALR screen technologies − including Transformer®, the world’s first and only truly variable aspect ratio screen (without the use of masking material), and Slate® Perf, an acoustically transparent version of their incredibly popular ALR screen
• At Booth 1-N122, StormAudio will use a Barco Residential projector to demonstrate its all-new immersive audio processors and amplifiers in Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X
• Alcons will partner with Barco Residential for their Pro-Ribbon Immersive Experience taking place in an acoustically-optimized demo room on Alcons’ Booth 6H148 in Hall 6
