Barco at Almo Professional A/V’s E4 Tour

barco-almo-0416Barco has teamed with Almo Professional A/V to invite AV professionals to experience the future of 4K now at the E4 AV Tour, coming to Atlanta, Ga. on April 27. Barco will showcase its latest products in the growing ClickShare wireless presentation family and its pioneering laser phosphor business projector during this event.

Now in its sixth year, the E4 tour has traveled to cities around the country to provide product, technical and business training needs to thousands of resellers and installers while creating the ideal forum for professional networking, industry-leading educational, and expansive product expo. This year, a special keynote by AV industry visionary and rAVe pubs founder Gary Kayye explains real versus pseudo 4K and how the industry can truly benefit from implementing 4K projection in the meeting room. Entitled “4K: No Myths, No Exaggerations – Just the Facts,” the presentation will be held during the General Session at 9:30am on Wednesday. Kayye will share the top four applications for 4K, presenting his session in real, live 4K using the Barco HDX-4K20 projector.

4k-gary-0416“The AV industry is riddled with misinformation about 4K including exaggerated specs, compatibility and performance,” comments Kayye. “Unfortunately, AV integrators are left to sort out what’s real 4K or simulated 4K, only to be left vulnerable to making serious mistakes.” Kayye will share information on everything an AV pro needs to know to specify, sell and integrate 4K systems right the first time.

Barco offers a host of corporate AV solutions designed to boost presentation quality and facilitate meaningful, effective collaboration in meeting rooms of all sizes. This year, the company introduced two new versions of ClickShare for smaller meeting rooms, capitalizing on the ad hoc or huddle space meeting space trend, rounding out is product line to address the knowledge-sharing needs of the entire organization.

CS-100 – The CS-100 is a stand-alone model with an HDMI output, that allows up to eight users to connect and, with one user sharing at a time.

CSE-200 – The CSE-200 is ideal for small- to medium-sized meeting rooms, and is designed for enterprise rollouts with enhanced security features, a wider range of connectivity options – including AirPlay support for non-HDCP content – and central management.

As part of Almo’s brand new E4 Experience workshops, Barco is sponsoring a unique CTS accredited workshop called, “Designing a Huddle Space” where integrators will have hands-on experiences featuring Barco’s ClickShare collaboration tool. In this real-world scenario, integrators will come away with a greater understanding of how to use these tools to share, collaborate and inspire. The workshop will take place at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm.
