Aurora Multimedia announces the release of the new DXE-CAT-RX3 series of HDBaseT receivers. These new HDBaseT receivers consist of 4 models all incorporating balanced audio de-embedding stereo output, balanced line-level audio stereo input with mixing capabilities and dual relays for screen/lift control.

The DXE-CAT-RX3A model adds a 2x20W amplifier and two (2) additional models come complete with on-board IP/web based control ( DXE-CAT-RX3-L and RX3A-L ). The “L” versions include a stand-alone control system offering tablet integration and 1-RS232, 1-IR, 2-Relays, input mixing control and output level control. No apps are required for these as built-in web server features allow for non-platform specific integration.

The DXE-CAT-RX3 when combined with Aurora’s DXW-2 wall plates and DXB-8 button panel provide a complete AV control and distribution system all over a single CAT cable. All One room – One Cable™ products are designed and manufactured in the USA in Aurora’s facility located in Morganville NJ. Units are in production and will be shipping beginning of March. Aurora Multimedia introduces its latest HDBaseT CAT wall plate. The new DXW-1-S1 is a single-gang HDMI input and output wall plate pair with HDBaseT CAT extension up to 230ft (70m).

The DXW-1-TX1 transmitter and DXW-1-RX1 receiver single-gang wall plates can be used with any of Aurora’s HDBaseT transmitters or receivers as well as with other authorized HDBaseT displays and components. Besides extending HDMi to 230ft, the units also pass IR, RS232 and power (PoH) over a single CAT cable. The units can be powered from either end with PoH or directly from Aurora’s other HDBaseT award winning products using Flex-Power™.

The DXW-1  is available in kit form (Tx/Rx and power supply) or individually. Units are available in black and white. Shipping early Q2 2014. Come see this and many more new products at ISE booth 4-T18.
