Auralex Acoustics offers updated T-Coustic Ceiling Tile Acoustical Treatment. Many commercially available “acoustic” ceiling tiles are actually fairly reflective at low, mid and high frequencies, so they’re not very good absorbers. Auralex T-Coustic Ceiling Tiles use a 1” absorptive fiberglass core that offers 20-45 percent higher NRC ratings than standard tiles. T-Coustic tiles reduce unwanted reflections in the room by reducing the amount of reverberation present. The result is a noticeable improvement in speech intelligibility. Sized to fit standard 2’x2’ and 2’x4’ ceiling grids, they’re perfect for sound-critical spaces such as offices, conference rooms, medical facilities or basement environments.
