Atlona Asia Returns to InfoComm China with Bigger Footprint, Broader Range of AV Solutions

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 28, 2017 – Atlona Asia, a division of Atlona established in early 2016 to more thoroughly serve the extensive Asia-Pacific region, will exhibit at InfoComm China for the second year as a separate entity. Its 2017 plans include a larger booth with more AV solutions on display. The company will exhibit its latest innovations at Stand PE4-01 (April 12-14, China National Convention Center, Beijing), with additional support from longtime regional partner Schot International.

Atlona Asia’s expanded regional presence reinforces its commitment to serving customers in the quickly growing Chinese market, as well as other Asia-Pacific countries. With a full-service Hong Kong office dedicated to sales, marketing, training and technical support, Atlona Asia has quickly established a reputation for excellent customer service and quick delivery of AV solutions for channel partners and end users throughout China and beyond.

“We established Atlona Asia as a key strategic element of Atlona’s ‘think global, act local’ initiative,” said Jeff Meyer, Senior International Sales Director, Atlona. “As the most important AV event of the Asia-Pacific, Infocomm China provides us with the opportunity to get closer to our customers in this region, and demonstrate how our latest innovations align with today’s leading AV trends and business opportunities in including 4K and HDR, AV over IP, and cloud-based collaboration and control.”

Atlona Asia will present live demonstrations to showcase several technological advances and industry firsts. This includes the award-winning OmniStream™ Series, Atlona’s first line of AV over IP products; and the AT-UHD-HDVS-300 Soft Codec Conferencing System. These systems address emerging requirements in AV that rely on the cloud for signal distribution or software-based meeting spaces. Network-based remote product management will also be on display with the presentation of Atlona’s AMS Go™ software tool at the stand.

InfoComm China will also serve as the regional debut of several new Atlona switching, distribution, and connectivity solutions, including the AT-UHD-CLSO-840, an 8×4, 4K HDMI and HDBaseT switcher that offers a powerful matrix for videoconferencing, distance learning, and training rooms. The AT-UHD-SW-510W, a 4K/UHD switcher series featuring DisplayPort and USB-C connectivity with support for wireless BYOD, will also be on display.

Most notable is the regional introduction of Velocity, Atlona’s cloud-based control system built to maximize redundancy and prevent downtime in multi-room AV systems. The highly scalable and easy-to-configure Velocity provides a flexible platform for control of Atlona products and third party products, while its cloud-based system management approach enables control system configuration using a web browser along with offsite devices. Velocity is comprised of three distinct elements that work together as a single, unified platform: Velocity Control Suite, Velocity Control Gateway, and Velocity Touch Panels.

“From our Hong Kong office to our presence at regional events, Atlona Asia continues to invest heavily in strategic initiatives that introduce our brand to new customers, and strengthen relationships with our existing customer base,” said Marco Wong, General Manager, Atlona Asia.
