Happy New Year, readers! And welcome to the first 2019 issue of rAVe HOW.
Today we hear from Leonard Suskin on specs, Dr. Fred Ampel on situational awareness and Scott Tiner on listening. Leonard analyzes the polarity sometimes assoociated with spec sheets and how — depending on the level of detail — they can make your life easy, breezy and beautiful or cold and sad. Fred builds upon the first part of his situational awareness conversation by discussing technology lag and it’s relationship to the speed in which a business changes. Scott touches on the ever familiar comment, “I don’t need a mic, I’m loud enough” and how he is analyzing the implementation of a standard at Bates College.
I recently came across this meme after having not seen it for a couple of years. And that is why you got the “easy, breezy, beautiful” reference above.
Have a great weekend!
