AMX by HARMAN Resource Management Suite Refresh Brings Better Reporting, Mobile-Friendly Interface
LAS VEGAS—AMX by HARMAN is furthering its commitment to simplifying the installation and use of technology across a variety of markets by announcing several exciting enhancements to AMX Resource Management Suite Enterprise (RMS) software. RMS Enterprise is a scalable server-based software solution that provides remote management, scheduling and reporting capabilities for AV assets, rooms and building systems. This new update brings a new, improved user experience and a mobile-friendly interface.
A key part of this new interface is an improved reporting experience. This new reporting interface allows users to setup and configure a variety of detailed reports, save those report settings, and then easily run the report at any time. With updated scheduling capabilities, users can now also schedule these reports, so they run automatically. AMX Resource Management Suite can automatically send scheduled reports to a specific user at a defined interval. Reports are available as a downloadable PDF file, or those wanting to parse the data reports for other uses can download a newly simplified CSV file.
AMX RMS’s new HTML5 interface allows users to access reporting settings and other capabilities from a laptop, tablet or mobile device. Tech-friendly settings such as update manager, reporting and the hot list are now accessible anywhere in the building. The original interface, along with advanced configuration settings, is still available for laptop users.

Microsoft Exchange 2016 support
Updated SDK allowing certain HARMAN devices to automatically register in AMX RMS and provide defined control parameters. Initial support includes:
AMX Enova® DVX Series all-in-one presentation switchers
AMX Solecis® digital switchers
AMX Modero® touch panels
AMX RMS Enterprise v4.6 is expected to be released in early September 2016.
